This Midtown Centre Brisbane City project has a range of unique aspects that take advantage of Hutchinson Builders’ diverse construction experience and capability in office towers, Green Star and NABERs ratings, conversions, heritage and integrated fitouts.

Hutchinson Builders are the principal contractor and Advanced Insulation was contracted to VAE to carry out the following works.

Works included insulation from ground level to L27, two plant rooms on every level with roughly 8 AHUs per level, three chillers on level L27.

Acoustic insulation to the smoke atrium level 27. This was a more complex install as it involved fabricating a steel wall for attaching attenuators, then framing out with 50mm wall spacings to install 50mm rockwool insulation, perforated metal 11% open perf metal sheathed to all walls ceilings
